SOUTH SYDNEY JUNIOR LEAGUE OFFICE – SOME REMINDERS TO ALL CLUBS PLAYING IN OR OUT OF THE DISTRICT

Gentle reminder to all clubs playing in or out of district
Photos- player & volunteer profiles – please ensure any photos of players/ volunteers participating this weekend are up to date, if they cannot identify a player/ volunteer, they will not let them participate in the match. This is not negotiable.
Bench – only players dressed in playing uniform will be permitted to sit on the bench. Injured players are not permitted to be within the fenced area of the ground. Staff are to be respectful to the Ground Managers. Take rubbish with you post game.
Trainers – game day , permissible League Safe (1 or 2), Blue Shirt (1-3), Orange Shirt (1-3) your clubs need ensure that the maximum number of trainers per team as per the NRL On Field Policy if followed. Blue Shirts are permitted to run water regardless of what happens in other districts for their local competitions (e.g. South Sydney A Grade/A Reserves, Parramatta Only run competitions). There seemed to be confusion last week. They have spare vests to borrow but must be returned, if trainers do not return them they will not have any to lend on game day and therefore trainers will not have a vest and not permitted to enter the field of play or be on the benched area.
Players – need to sign their names (mod players can initial ) on the game sheet , handwritten names should only be players playing up on game day.
We suggest clubs double check their team sheet report Thursday night in case Managers haven’t entered their teams. Understand its early in the season and sometimes My Sideline doesn’t play nicely all the time.
Submitting team lists, please ensure ALL team lists are submitted through my sideline on Thursday night. Players and OFFICIALS must be added.
Accreditation – only accredited staff should be on the team sheets and must sign the team sheet. Anyone staff member that has no card on the Mangers app will not be permitted to undertake their nominated role on game day as the Ground Managers will not permit them to be inside the fenced area.
Parking – Clubs are not permitted to park inside the ground under any circumstances, there is limited parking around some Ovals and suggest that clubs take that into consideration when traveling to grounds.
Change Rooms – please ensure all rubbish is removed. If a club leaves the dressing shed in a poor state, some District or the Management Committee may impose the Club a cleaning fee.
Basic cleanliness, rubbish and strapping tape is to be placed in bins, and a quick sweep out by trainers. Please leave the sheds the way you wish to walk into it.
If anyone requires signage please let me know.
Clearances if clearances are not in the system by Thursday Morning please do not expect to play on the weekend, clearances can take up to 10 working days to complete. We will terminate any phone calls on the weekend requesting help with clearances.
I value all of you for the time you put into your clubs as volunteers and understand the start of the season is not an easy process.
While I don’t have any issues helping clubs outside of work hours please know that I do that out of the kindness of my heart to get kids on the park, and I am more than happy to help where and when I can.
Please don’t get angry or cranky if I am unavailable to help you at certain times, if you can send me an email or text message and I will action what is required as soon as I am able to.
If anyone has any questions, please reach out.
Kind Regards,
