After two rounds of junior rugby league completed – a reminder to everyone that this coming weekend there will be NO footy over the Anzac Day period.

There is a dawn service at the Maroubra Cenotaph across from The Juniors Maroubra between Anzac Parade commencing at 4:30am. Everyone is most welcome to attend this service.

LEST WE FORGET.

SOUTH SYDNEY RABBITOHS JUNIOR CLUB VISIT – NEXT TUESDAY

South Sydney Rabbitohs Junior Club Visit Tuesday 28 April from 4:00 -5:00pm.

Each of the South Sydney Junior clubs will have two (2) players from the Rabbitohs Top 30 Squad attend their ground.

Who will be coming to Snape ???

As this is not a scheduled training afternoon for most of our junior teams, we will look to run some basic skills drills followed by signing of jumpers, photos etc with the players.

Your support would be most appreciated.

OUR YOUNG LIONS PLAY AT ACCOR STADIUM

Last weekend our Under 6 and 7 teams headed out to Accor Stadium Homebush to play footy at halftime in the Rabbitohs game against the St George Illawarra Dragons.

This is a unique experience that every young junior player will usually remember for years to come – playing in a premier stadium before a large crowd.

The feedback was that everyone had a great time and to top it off the Rabbitohs had a good win.

Thank you to Brooke Hoban from the South Sydney Rabbitohs for the opportunity, along with our Lions Team officials and parents who supported the teams at Accor.

SNAPE HOME GROUND MATCH DAY – FIELDS SETUP & PACK UP

Each time we host games at our home ground there is a need for volunteers to assist either in the setting up of the fields OR at the end of the day packing away the ground equipment.

Whilst the Junior League endeavours to allocate the first and last game to our club so we have parents and team officials on hand – this is not always feasible.

Many hands make light work so if parents could lend us a hand when required the club would be most grateful.

THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM OFFICIALS

With the junior rugby league season now in full swing, we would once again like to acknowledge our many volunteers.

Whether it be our coaches, team managers, trainers, committee members and canteen/bbq workers who all volunteer their valuable time – thank you very much all for your efforts.

We are still looking for additional people to step up so don’t be shy.

THANK YOU TO OUR 2026 SEASON CLUB SPONSORS
