Your Roving Reporter has come across an article which was featured in the local newspaper “The Messenger” back from around 1973 when dinosaurs roamed the planet. It contains the football teams from our local feeder school Maroubra Junction Public which once upon a time occupied both sides of ANZAC Parade. Both of these teams had many players who also played footy for the Mighty Maroubra Lions RLFC. Your Roving Reporter still to this day is in contact with a number of these guys & can report they look back fondly at their time at Snape...
