CONGRATULATIONS GEORGIE ISRAEL – RECOGNISED BY THE NSWRL FOR HER VOLUNTEER EFFORTS

GEORGIE ISRAEL FROM THE MAROUBRA LIONS RECOGNISED BY THE NSW RUGBY LEAGUE FOR HER VOLUNTEER EFFORTS

The annual awards recognise the invaluable contribution made by almost 25,000 people who give up their time as volunteers, officials, coaches and referees to ensure the NSW Rugby League (NSWRL) is able to run Community Football at more than 700 clubs across the state.

The awards also acknowledge the support given in the wider community as well as to the Rugby League community.

We at the Maroubra RLFC are very pleased to advise the following –

Volunteer of the Year Sydney South Region – Georgina Israel, Maroubra Lions Rugby League Football Club

On behalf of everyone involved within the Mighty Lions we would like to congratulate Georgie on this award which is much deserved.

Georgina (Georgie) Israel came into our junior rugby league club several years ago initially as a parent. It was not long before she undertook the role of our Mini League teams Co-ordinator & also gained both her coaching & training accreditation.

Her approachable friendly manner & can do nature to any parent enquiry is greatly appreciated by all that she comes into contact with.

We thank her for her volunteer efforts on behalf of the Maroubra Lions RLFC.
